  • WHO ARE WE?

    Mirchaa is weekly subscription meal service that delivers fresh (not frozen) ready-to-eat South Asian food. We also take catering orders and do LIVE BBQ at events. We also offer Takeout from our kitchen in Tampa on select days.

    HOW DOES MIRCHAA WORK?

    We follow a simple process: Pick your weekly plan of 4, 6 or 10 meals. We hand-craft each meal from fresh, locally sourced ingredients and our team delivers within 2 business days. All you have to do is heat the meals and enjoy.

    ARE YOUR MEALS HALAL?

    100% halal.

    WHERE IS THE FOOD PREPARED?

    Food is prepared in a professional commercial kitchen in Tampa, FL.

    HOW IS THE FOOD PACKAGED

    All meals are packaged in a FDA approved meal container and vacuum sealed for lasting freshness. We do not freeze meals.

    WHICH MEAL PLAN WILL WORK BEST FOR ME?

    Every meal serves one. We serve a generous portion but you can always add more meals to your existing plan or change your plan based on your needs. If you have a larger household, we would recommend a 10-meal per week subscription. In all our meal plans, you can always add additional meals.

    WHAT IS THE QUANTITY OF THE MEALS?

    All our meals are single serving and meant to feed an average adult. We serve a very generous portion. What’s even better? Most of our meals average just 550 calories and range from 300 to 800 calories.

    WHAT KIND OF INGREDIENTS DO YOU USE?

    We use fresh, locally sourced, high quality ingredients in all our meals. All our produce is handpicked and we use organic vegetables based on availability. We use 100% halal meat in all our meals.

    HOW MANY CALORIES ARE IN MY MEAL?

    Most meals vary between 300 to 800 calories per serving.

    DOES THE MENU CHANGE WEEKLY?

    Yes, we add weekly specials to our menu but most of the fan favorites are available every week. Our expansive menu has over 25 dishes. You can view it here.

    CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY ORDER?

    You can customize spice level for some dishes or add protein options. If you need more customization, place an order and send us customization requests within 2 hours of placing order at info@mirchaa.com and someone from our team will respond back.

    HOW MANY DAYS IS THE FOOD GOOD TO EAT?

    You must refrigerate the meals as soon as you receive them. Once the vacuum seal is broken, the food is good for 2 days. If the meal remains sealed in the refrigerator, it will be fresh for at least 4-5 days. Meals will loose freshness if you heat it multiple times.

    HOW DO I STORE THE FOOD?

    Storage: All our meals are in vacuum sealed food grade containers. We strongly recommend that you store it in a refrigerator as soon as you receive your delivery. All our meals are delivered fresh (never frozen) and our team delivers the food as we do not utilize third-party shipping like FedEx or UPS.

    HOW DO I HEAT THE FOOD?

    There are two ways:

    Microwave: Our food containers are microwave safe and recyclable. Please remove the vacuum sheet and the lid before microwaving. The recommended duration of microwaving food is 2 minutes (standard microwave settings). For Naan (flatbread), warm it preferably in an over toaster for 60-90 seconds.

    Stove-top: Transfer the food into a pot or pan, heat on medium setting until the desired temperature is reached. We do not recommend heating rice dishes on a stove-top.

    HOW SPICY ARE MY MEALS?

    Our food’s spice level is authentic to the South Asian region, but we can customize spice levels to your liking. If you are trying our food for the first time, we recommend selecting meals with medium spice option on entrees where spice level can be customized.

    CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE FOOD ALLERGIES?

    Some of our food has spices, herbs, dairy, or nuts. If you have any sort of severe allergy, then we do not recommend our meal plans. To check on specific ingredients of dishes, send us a note at info@mirchaa.com.

  • WHAT IS THE ORDERING PROCESS?

    All orders are placed on our website. You will be asked to register with us for the first time. Once registered and logged in, follow the process below:

    Choose a Weekly Plan of 4,6 or 10 meals or an À la carte plan for One-Time Orders > Pick your meals from the menu > Check delivery date and proceed to make an online payment > Order is complete.

    WHEN SHOULD I PLACE THE ORDER AND WHEN WILL IT BE DELIVERED?

    All orders must be placed before 3 pm on Sunday for delivery two days later on Wednesday.

    WILL MY MEALS BE DELIVERED AUTOMATICALLY EVERY WEEK?

    Yes, this is a recurring subscription, but you must log in and change your meals for next week’s delivery. Otherwise, we will deliver the same meal as your previous week or auto-fill weekly specials. You will get two reminder text for every week’s order and you must change meals before your order deadline.

    WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T CHANGE MY MEALS?

    We will deliver the same meals as your previous week or auto-fill new weekly specials. You will get reminder text to select meals for the upcoming week’s order and you must change meals before your order deadline.

    WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T CHANGE MY MEALS & MY CARD GETS CHARGED?

    Once your card is charged and your meals are in the system, a refund will not be issued.

    CAN I PAUSE MY SUBSCRIPTION OR RESCHEDULE MY DELIVERY?

    Yes, you can log into your account and pause subscription. If you would like to pause or reschedule, you must notify us before your order deadline. If you skip after your next week’s order is already ‘processing’ then that week will not be skipped and you will still receive a meal. You must pause your subscription before 3 pm on Sunday.

    HOW CAN I CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION? DOES IT COST ANYTHING TO CANCEL?

    You can log into your account and cancel your membership at no cost. However, you must cancel your subscription before you next order date. If the system has already processed this week’s order then the cancellation would be in effect from the following week. If you have multiple plans, you have to cancel each plan separately to ensure all plans are cancelled. We’re here to help so if you have any questions, drop us a note at info@mirchaa.com.

    CAN I CHANGE MY MEAL PLAN?

    Yes, you can change to 4, 6 or 10 meals after logging in your account. Open your account dashboard and click edit plan. From this screen you will be able to select an another plan.

    IS THERE A CANCELLATION FEE?

    There is no cancellation fee. However, if you cancel after the cut-off time, you will receive meals for that week before the cancellation takes effect.

    IS THERE A REFERRAL PROGRAM? HOW DOES IT WORK?

    Yes. Once you log in your account, you will see a referral code. When someone applies that code when they sign-up, both of you will get a $10 credit applied to your next order.

  • WHAT AREAS DO YOU DELIVER?

    We deliver in Tampa and all connecting cities including Saint Petersburg, Riverview, Clearwater, Odessa, Palm Harbor, Lutz, Wesley Chapel, Trinity, and adjoining areas. To find whether we deliver in your area, go to mirchaa.com/Delivery-Areas

    WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY MEALS?

    All orders placed before Sunday 3 pm are delivered two days later on Wednesday.

    HOW IS THE FOOD DELIVERED?

    We do not rely on third-party shipping like UPS or FedEx. Our team hand delivers every order to your door to ensure timeliness, quality and freshness. If you are not home, we will leave your meals at the doorstep in a box with cooling packs which will last 2-3 hours. This packaging keeps your meals cool and not frozen, so (given the Florida temperature) you must refrigerate items as soon as you receive them.

    *We have high quality controls standards during the packaging and delivery of our meals; however, we have no control once they are delivered.

    DO YOU DELIVER CATERING ORDERS?

    Yes. We deliver in Tampa and all connecting cities including Saint Petersburg, Riverview, Clearwater, Odessa, Palm Harbor, Lutz, Wesley Chapel, Trinity, and adjoining areas.

    DO YOU CUSTOMIZE CATERING ORDERS?

    Absolutely, everything can be customized based on your preference.

    DO YOU DO CORPORATE EVENTS OR OFFICE LUNCHES?

    We do both! Office lunches can also be individually wrapped boxes.
